Lizzy is a mummy with a family who love books! She has seen the benefit books give to her and her two girls, they enjoy reading and this brings them closer together when they open a book and go through the adventure. Lizzy believes books promote confidence, knowledge, patience and independence. With this in mind her passion is to work with schools to encourage pupils to read for pleasure. Her dream would be to provide school libraries with new up to date books, to encourage a love of reading to all school age children for them to take to adulthood. It could open up a whole new world……
‘Lizzy arranged a Ready Steady Listen event which raised an amazing amount of money towards books, she arranged everything brilliantly and kept the staff, pupils and parents motivated through out the event. The books and the free books we received were amazing and such a great variety too, the pupils love them all.
